AwardSpring's main navigation menu consists of 3 areas: Controls, Communication, and General. Below we provide an overview for each section so you can hit the ground running to complete your tasks!
Controls
This is the primary section where you'll spend most of your time as an Admin. Here you'll be configuring and managing various tasks before your award cycle opens, and once it opens. That includes creating and managing scholarships, creating and managing users, configuring and managing the review process, creating and running various types of reports, and customizing the general application to your needs.
Note: If you've purchased donor management, you'll have the ability to track and manage donations.
Communication
You'll access this section when needing to reach out to your applicants, which you can do via email in AwardSpring (and/or via text if you have the texting feature activated). Additionally, during the awarding process here you'll be able to track any tasks that your applicants might be required to complete in order to receive funds.
General
Any smaller tasks that will give your AwardSpring site that special touch would be configured in this section. That includes customizing your home page, with a logo and a background image, as well as customize your brand color that will be reflected on applicant dashboards to it accurately reflects your institution's brand. You'll have a bird's eye view of your entire award cycle, allowing you to jump into any task regardless of which stage you are in. Lastly, if you are ever needing clarification on how to use a certain feature or are just looking to explore what else AwardSpring offers, you'll be able to do so via the Help Center.
