Any question that is not part of your SIE (import) mapping and is a non-active qualification question (is not in use on scholarships) can be deactivated on the general application.
- If the question you are needing deactivated it part of your SIE (import) mapping please reach out to our Support team.
- If the question your are needing deactivated is an active qualification question on scholarships in your current cycle, you will need to remove it from the scholarships before you can deactivate it.
To gather a list of scholarships that the question is active on, you'll need to run the 'Scholarships with Qualifications and Additional Requirements' report under the Reports tab> Stock Library.
Upon downloading the report, you would filter the second to last column on it and search for the question you are needing deactivated. The scholarships that are left on the report are those you will need to edit the Qualification tab of . Specifically, you'll need to remove the qualification question. Then you'll be set to follow the next steps listed below.
Deactivating a question
Head to the Application tab (in Admin view), locate the question you'd like to deactivate and expand it, then select 'Deactivate Question'.
Note: If your application period is open or has recently closed, you will be asked to confirm your action which will result in lost answers from students who answered the question.
Re-activating a question
Head to the Application tab (in Admin view), select the Inactive Questions section, locate the question you need re-activated and expand it. Click on 'Re-activate Question' and then select a section to place this question to.
Note: If your application period is open or closed this will cause for submitted application to become incomplete again. However, only if your application period is open will your students be able to log in and answer the new question on their application.
