You can customize certain parts of your website. To do so, head to Settings> Appearance.
The Logo section allows you to upload a logo with specific dimensions (marked below in the screenshot) which will appear on your AwardSpring logo page. When ready click on Upload Logo to upload your document.
Note: If you rather not have a logo, at the top of your homepage, the name of your organization is displayed. There cannot be both text and a logo.
Next, you can customize a brand color, which appears on applicant dashboards which highlights an announcement for their application status.
You'll notice that the Default option is selected, but you can choose a custom color as well.
Once you select a custom color, and a Contrast Preview will be made visible.
AwardSpring by default will post a closing date on applicant dashboards to reflect the application deadline. However, you can create a custom message to communicate any
By selecting 'Custom Text', a text box will populate allowing you to add custom language.
Note: Don't forget to click the Save button at the bottom of the page once you're happy with your message.
You can add a footer to your AwardSpring homepage. Once you fill out the 'Text to Display' and 'URL' details, the last step is to check the 'Enable Link' checkbox to make the footer visible.
In the HomePage section you can first type in text with a limit of 140 characters. In the second section, you are able to upload a homepage image or background by clicking 'Upload Image' (the specifications are visible in the screenshot).
The last step is to click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save all your changes.
Adding Text To Your Homepage
Adding text to your homepage allows you to include a brief message to applicants. You may choose to include information about deadline dates or contact information.
To add homepage text, head to Settings, select the Appearance tab.
Under the HomePage section, enter text in the box below.
Note: The character limit is 110.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click 'Save' if you are satisfied with the text.
The homepage text will be displayed in a gray box above the sign in boxes.
Selecting a Brand Color
Customize your brand color to make your AwardSpring site more recognizable to applicants. To get started, click on Settings > Appearance.
Brand Color is defaulted to the AwardSpring colors.
To customize your band color, select ‘Set brand color’ and click into the box to choose your desired brand color.
Brand colors can be set by RGB, HSL, or HEX by clicking the arrows in the bottom right corner.
The selected color will be displayed with a contrast preview, giving a visual of how the color will appear with text on the student dashboard.
Applicants will see the branding color on their dashboard.
