Here are a few things to keep in mind before creating your award cycle:
1. Application Period Dates may not overlap another cycle's application period dates. You will receive an error explaining what dates are overlapping, if there are conflicts.
2. Application Default dates are "hard dates." Scholarships will not be available until the Default Application Open Date and they will not be available after the Default Application Close Date. If you have scholarships that do not fit into these application dates, you can adjust these dates on that specific scholarship.
Creating a New Award Cycle
Head to Settings in the main navigation menu, and select the Award Cycles subtab.
Under 'Create New Award Cycle' section, enter the Award Cycle Name, Award Cycle Dates, and Default Application Dates, then click on the 'Create Award Cycle' button.
Note: Once you set the Award Cycle Start Date, the system will automatically set default dates for the remaining dates required, but you can edit them to fit your needs.
Your new award cycle will appear in the 'Existing Award Cycles' section of the page!
